This Craftsman-style home was a full gut renovation project that unfolded over multiple years, with every decision made thoughtfully and with the home’s original architectural character in mind. From replacing every knob and hinge on all doors, to replacing every mismatched window to be consistent with the Craftsman style homes dating back to the 1800's. Another design choice was to paint the wood molding in the dining room to allow the wall of lead windows to take center stage, yet another hallmark of the American Craftsman style. The goal was to preserve the integrity and warmth that define this style of architecture while updating the home for modern family living.
